Balloon Arch Assembly Instructions

What you’ll need:

  • Balloons - 5”, 11”, 18”, and long

  • Command Hooks

Optional:

  • Electric Balloon Pump

  • Hand Balloon Pump

  1. Separate your 5”, 11”, and 18” balloons.

  2. Inflate two 11” balloons and tie their necks together.

  3. Repeat step 2 two more times.

  4. Twist all three pairs together to create one “bunch” of six balloons.

  5. Repeat steps 2–4 to make as many bunches as you need. Each bunch equals about one foot of garland.

    1. Optional: Swap one 11” balloon for an 18” balloon in a few random bunches for variation—never use more than one 18” balloon in the same bunch.

    2. Tip: For the most professional look, keep each bunch one solid color.

  6. Lay out all your completed bunches in the order you want your garland.

  7. Inflate a long balloon, then tie the ends together to form a loop.

  8. Wrap the loop around one 11” balloon in your first bunch.

  9. Take your second bunch and wrap the other half of the loop around one 11” balloon in that bunch to connect them.

  10. Continue this process down the entire garland until all bunches are secured together.

  11. To add small balloons, repeat steps 2–4 using 5” balloons—this time creating bunches of four instead of six.

  12. Using the same loop method from steps 7–9, attach your 5” bunches around the garland wherever you’d like. Remember the color tip above—grouping similar colors together looks best.

  13. To hang your garland, tie a string or long balloon to each end by reaching into the center of the end bunch and securing it around the balloon cluster. Use the loose ends to attach to command hooks on the wall.
